Task Forward Assist

Two different roles. Two different jobs.

Executive Assistant and Admin Assistant get lumped together everywhere else. We keep them separate because they solve different problems.

Executive Assistant

Support for the work only you were doing

An Executive Assistant works closest to you: your calendar, your inbox, your priorities. This role is for founders and executives who need someone making judgment calls on their behalf, not just following a checklist.

What they handle

Calendar and inbox management, priority triage, meeting prep and follow-through, travel coordination, and both personal and business task management.

Who this is for

Founders, executives, or agents who are the bottleneck in their own business because too much still runs through them personally.

How it's different from Admin

An Executive Assistant makes decisions and represents you directly. An Admin Assistant executes defined, repeatable tasks. Most businesses eventually need both, at different volumes.

Admin Assistant

The systems and tasks that keep the business running

An Admin Assistant handles the operational, repeatable work that has to happen every week whether or not anyone is thinking about it: data, documents, client communication, and the small systems that keep everything organized.

Administrative Support

Data entry and cleanup, document preparation and formatting, file system upkeep, CRM updates, and invoicing or expense tracking support.

Client Communication

Inquiry and intake response, appointment setting and confirmations, follow-up sequences, status updates, and review or referral requests.

Operations Support

SOP writing, workflow and task tracking, vendor coordination, recurring reporting, and day-to-day tool administration.

Inbound & Scheduling

Phone and voicemail handling, live chat coverage, calendar booking, lead routing and logging, and after-hours message triage.

Transaction Support (Real Estate)

Deadline and contingency tracking, listing input and updates, compliance file assembly, and buyer or seller communication from contract to close.

How it's different from Executive

Admin Assistant work is task-based and well-defined. It's the right starting point if you need hours back in your week rather than a second set of judgment calls.

The Task Forward Standard

What's included either way

Included in every Assist engagement
  • A named assistant assigned to your account, put through the Task Forward Standard before you meet them
  • Onboarding to your existing tools and systems
  • A named account manager on our side
  • Monthly performance review
  • Coverage arranged for planned absences
  • Replacement at no new onboarding fee within the first 30 days
Not included, routed elsewhere
  • Graphic design and branded collateral → Creative
  • Content writing and posting → Social
  • Video editing → Creative
  • Website builds and updates → Web
  • Bookkeeping and tax filing → your accountant
  • Licensed professional advice → your advisors

This boundary is deliberate. When design and content requests get absorbed into an admin retainer, the admin work is what quietly stops happening.
